Finding this space was not quick. It was a three-year search for something that felt right—not just in location, but in energy and potential.

When it was finally found, it became a labor of care and vision. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, and the space was shaped by hand to reflect what the salon would become — welcoming, peaceful and intentional.
Just two blocks from Dolores Park, TressWorks is part of a lively, creative community where people gather to listen to music, read in the sun, meet friends, watch the sunset, and experience the culture and energy of San Francisco. That mix of neighborhood charm, creativity, and connection feels very much in the spirit of the salon itself.
Located at the meeting point of Noe Valley, Dolores Heights, and the Valencia corridor, TressWorks sits in one of the city’s most special pockets an area shaped by history, culture, and a strong sense of community. That richness is part of what makes this space feel so special.
We created TressWorks to offer something more intimate—a welcoming San Francisco salon where experienced independent stylists can focus on their clients in a relaxed, thoughtfully designed setting.
A place where clients can feel comfortable, cared for, and confident in the hands of their stylist. We want people to enjoy coming back, build genuine relationships, and feel good about the time they spend here.

Creating TressWorks was about more than opening a salon. It was about building something meaningful through dedication, vision, and heart.
Through TressWorks, Lana also envisioned creating a space that extends beyond hair — a place that brings people together. From educational classes and creative workshops to art openings, collaborations, and community events, the salon is designed to be a welcoming space for connection, inspiration, and shared experiences.
