Lana Orca
Stylist / Salon Owner (she/her)
With more than 20 years of experience behind the chair in San Francisco, Lana is a coveted hairstylist, colorist, and the founder of TressWorks Salon. Before establishing TressWorks, Lana honed her craft at several premier San Francisco salons, including Backstage Salon, Alchemy Salon at Union Square, Dekko Salon in Dogpatch, and The Park Salon in Glen Park. These salons helped shape her into the stylist and colorist she is today. She continues her education through advanced training, hair shows, and has extensive experience with leading brands, including Oribe, Bumble and Bumble, Kérastase, Davines, Goldwell, L'Oréal, Wella, and Schwarzkopf. Her multicultural background and experience allows her to select the right technique and approach for her client's individual needs. She enjoys creating everything from blunt bobs to textured shags, simple all-over color to blonding and color corrections, gray blending, and colorful, dimensional fashion shades. She loves it all and continues to be inspired by an industry never stops evolving. She brings an experienced eye, creativity, and an open mind to every client, always striving to make her clients's hair look and feel its best.

Joanna B
Stylist (she/her)
With over 14 years behind the chair, Joanna specializes in dimensional, lived-in color designed to look seamless, effortless, and natural. During her time at Population Salon, she trained in balayage and lived-in color, refining the techniques that shape her signature approach today.
Her work is especially focused on rich dimensional brunettes, blended balayage, soft lived-in blondes/brondes, and customized blonding that create movement and depth without feeling overdone.
Her approach to hair is soft, modern, and tailored to each client, with a focus on enhancing their natural features and complementing their personal style. She creates looks that feel elevated but still easy to wear. Behind the chair, Joanna also loves creating classic bobs, butterfly cuts, long flowing layers, and shaping thick, long hair so it feels lighter, softer, and full of movement.
Inspired by fashion, nature, travel, and effortless European style, Joanna brings a relaxed, detail-driven approach to every appointment. Natalie Graf

Natalie is a Bay Area native and experienced hairstylist who brings a thoughtful, creative approach to every guest in her chair. She trained through two apprenticeship programs and continues to draw inspiration from education rooted in Toni&Guy, her curl-cutting specialist mentor, Goldwell, Bumble and bumble, R+Co, Cult+King and Evo.
After years of working with Kevin Murphy color line, Natalie now uses Maria Nila Color brand. Maria Nila Color is ammonia-free and infused with essential oils, making it a perfect option for guests with sensitive skin.
Before becoming a hairstylist, Natalie planned to use her sociology degree to pursue therapy work. But her love for hair, creativity, and working closely with people led her to follow a different path. She brings that same care, curiosity, and understanding into her work, creating looks that feel personal, natural, and easy to wear.
Outside the salon, Natalie enjoys spending time with her three kids, family, friends, and her sweet pitbull, Lacey.

Alexandria Rose
Stylist (they/them)
Alexandria Rose is a bi-coastal guest stylist with over 10 years of experience behind the chair. Working between San Francisco and New York, they specialize in precision and razor cutting, lived-in dimensional color, and transformation blonding. Their approach combines strong technical foundations with an intuitive understanding of texture, movement, and personal style.
Alexandria creates thoughtful, individualized hair that feels expressive while remaining wearable and easy to maintain. Whether refining a shape, creating a significant transformation, or developing a color that grows out beautifully, they prioritize healthy hair, honest communication, and results designed around the person wearing them.
Their continued education includes advanced cutting studies at Sassoon Academy in New York, precision training with Mizutani and Bulu, and ongoing creative education with Pony Studios. Outside the salon, Alexandria draws inspiration from art, travel, and the distinct creative energy of both coasts.
